Hello and welcome to Resurrected Guitars. My name is Cristian, and I have been a life-long multi-instrumental musician for 45 years. I have toured professionally and stood on many stages playing guitar, bass and a number of other instruments. I’ve always felt that a guitar is an extension of your soul and a way to express yourself without actually saying anything.
Throughout the years I have owned many instruments and have always appreciated the work and craftsmanship that goes into them. I’ve always liked pulling things apart to see how they work and rebuilt my first guitar when I was 16 years old. It was a Japanese built Hondo II Fender Precision Bass Copy with dead strings, a horrible action and a neck that felt like a baseball bat. Despite all that, It was what I could afford at the time and decided to try and rebuild it into something more respectable.
Afterwards I stripped it down, had it painted metallic black with white Van Halen Stripes before replacing the tuning machines with used Fender tuners, added a Leo Quan Badass Bass Bridge, Seymour Duncan P-Bass Pickups and replaced the flat wound strings with Rotosound round wounds. I bought a book and taught myself how to do the set-up on the neck and action.
Since then, I have done many guitar set-ups, rebuilt and restored quite a few vintage guitars and have become quite passionate about restoring even the most extremely neglected instruments regardless of their value. If someone loves it, that’s all I need to know.
After years of working in Corporate IT, I felt it was time to finally pursue what I love doing and expand beyond my personal musician friends and collectors and finally open up shop to the public.
Every guitar player has a specific way they like to play and a specific way they want their instrument to feel. I have consulted with many guitar and bass players and put meticulous detail into achieving what they want out of their instrument.
If you have an instrument that is in need of a specific set-up or if you are a collector looking to bring an instrument back to its former glory, feel free to reach out to me at Resurrected Guitars. I am more than happy to answer questions or consult on something.
With great passion and appreciation for all who appreciate music and guitars, Thank you for visiting resurrectionguitars.com
